This week Samuel Ross and A-COLD-WALL* give us a look at their second womenswear collection, dubbed “SILICA.” Designed for SS19, the assortment features streamlined garments perfectly paired with the brand’s technical outerwear.

SILICA celebrates the impact of influential artists such as Rachel Whiteread and the late Zaha Hadid, honing in on intense design theory through product and material. We see short skirts with curvature and Italian-dyed nylon piping as just two stylistic examples carried out within the collection.

Ross intends for his SS19 womenswear to be understood through wearability in addition to aesthetic, a trait he insists is “more human.” To get a feel for A-COLD-WALL*’s SS19 womenswear collection, click through the Ronan Mckenzie-photographed campaign above.
