adidas is bringing back its most iconic apparel franchise, adicolor, for SS18. A symbol of sports and street culture, the series debuted in the ’70s, now celebrating color for a new generation.

For SS18, adidas chose a quartet of primary colors to utilize across both men’s and women’s collections. We find Bluebird, Fairway Green, Scarlett Red and Sun Yellow hues taking over classic styles that have been reimagined for today. While fabrics have been updated, logo sizes have thus been manipulated, in addition to proportions and placement.

Encompassing apparel and footwear, adidas’s SS18 adicolor collection launches online January 18.

Among the retailers stocking the new collection is FreshCotton. To celebrate the line’s return, the team at FreshCotton worked with adidas on a whimsical video that channels the aesthetic of Wes Anderson.
