Editor’s Notes: Today Adsum is launching the first drop from its new FW19 collection. The assortment is inspired by the harvest season, specifically referencing the clothing worn by workers who cultivate large plots of land. The seasonal range combines pops of color, sportswear items, and traditional workwear.
Adsum draws heavily from workwear influence for FW19, as styles are blended with outerwear staples. Subsequently, the Herringbone Work Jacket and Utility Pant serve as standouts alongside the Saratoga Jacket, which is the flagship outerwear piece for the season. The Brooklyn brand then pulls from outdoor performance with its technical fleece garments, which are paired with matching core logo beanies. Additionally, graphic styles adhere to the overall harvest theme of the collection.
All FW19 cut and sew items are made in Canada from one of the country's best mill/suppliers. The Utility Pant and Work Jacket, for example, are produced in a durable dry herringbone twill, while the Expedition fleece is constructed from heavyweight Japanese-milled Taslan. The Alpine Jacket, Hyperlight Down Jacket, and Hyperlight Down Vest are then produced in custom shell fabrics.
You can find the first drop from Adsum's FW19 collection available beginning today, August 22, at 11 a.m. EST through Adsum and select retailers including END., Nitty Gritty, Journal Standard, Wood Wood, and Oi Polloi. Also, the brand is prepping the opening of a flagship store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn this season.
