Following in the wake of a successful experiment with "rose gold" on the iPhone 6s, tech giants Apple have just dropped a new, updated MacBook which is available in the fashionable, glossy colorway.

The gorgeous new Mac boasts the latest Intel processors, up to 25 percent faster graphics performance, faster flash storage which will speed-up app loading times, and an additional hour of battery life, bringing it up from 9 hours to 10. Apple have also made 8GB of memory standard across all configurations of the 13-inch model.

As well as the rose gold edition, the machine is now available in three other aluminum finishes: gold, silver and space gray. Overall it is a fairly minor update, but the addition of rose gold is sure to be a crowdpleaser.

Pricing comes in exactly the same as last year’s iterations: 1.2 GHz processor model starts at $1,299, while the faster 1.3 GHz processor version bumps up the price to $1,599.

In other Apple news, new rumors suggest the company plans to release an all-glass iPhone in 2017.
