What happens when a young, fashion-obsessed German relocates to the United States to attend FIT? If you’re Marcel Floruss you start a blog to share every step of your journey, and every outfit too, naturally. Floruss is the creator, model and stylist behind One Dapper Street, a male-dedicated style blog that celebrates all things elegant.

Recently Floruss was tapped by luxury footwear purveyor Aquatalia, and asked to put his own spin on a few styles from the company’s much-anticipated men’s collection. Floruss, whose personal aesthetic ranges from ultra-classic to playfully modern, opted for something clean and straightforward.

The Fashion Merchandising student paired Aquatalia’s gray “Phillip” Chelsea boot with strategically faded boot-cut denim. To tie the gray back in, Floruss opted for a lighter gray tee over which he wears a camel coat (a fall essential).

Since its founding in 1994, Aquatalia has made all of its footwear in Italy, using hand-selected manufacturers. The “Phillip,” along with other men and women’s styles, is crafted from weatherproof materials for longevity and hardwearing comfort. Juxtaposing the boot’s waxy suede upper is a durable rubber sole that supports a leather-lined interior, and a comfortable padded insole.

Aquatalia offers more than 50 styles and colors across the men's category, all of which retail for between $395 and $675 depending on the shoe silhouette.
