No-One Does A Parents Date Night Like A$AP Rocky And Rihanna
Nothing is going to stop A$AP Rocky and Rihanna from pulling off fits, and that includes giving birth to what will undoubtedly be the best-dressed kid in the universe.
Since becoming parents, we have seen Rocky enjoy a fluffy boot moment, Rihanna supporting her beau in Martine Rose, and now the couple has stepped out for a date night together putting their own spin on formalwear. Back when we were on bump watch, we got used to seeing the couple out and about in New York but this is the first time in a minute that we have been treated to seeing them out together.
And for A$AP Rocky, there was a sense of deja-vu, since we spotted the rapper wearing a similar blazer and shorts combo this time last year, back when we were still taking in the shock of two of pop culture's biggest icons in a relationship.
It's a risky combination, which when done wrong can make you look like a wealthy Victorian child on a summer vacation, but he has once again managed to straddle the fine line between smart and casual. Something that becomes increasingly difficult as the weather gets hotter.
With a pair of leather derby's on foot, a light blue graphic t-shirt is doing the hard work in keeping his look from tipping the scale too far towards formality. And, since the yearly summer inseam debate is in full swing, it's worth noting that he opted for a pair of over-the-knee shorts.
Both rocking black sunglasses in the dark, the hallmark of any celebrity worthy of the limelight, Rihanna was wearing a long leather jacket with a matching skintight top and pants from Jean Paul Gaultier. Coming in navy blue, the two-piece meant that both looks were keeping to the same color scheme.
