Brand: BAPE

Season: Spring 2019

Key Pieces: A small selection of collaborative PORTER products compliment a line of mainline goods such as T-shirts and shorts emblazoned with the brand’s famous “Shark” graphic. Commemorative Baby Milo dolls will also be available to buy.

Release Date: April 20, 2019

Buy: All BAPE Hong Kong locations and EXI.T Silvercord.

Editor’s Notes: Far away from where it began in the heart of Tokyo’s Harajuku district some 25 years ago, BAPE is celebrating the 13th anniversary of its Hong Kong store with a selection of limited edition pieces. The collection features in-house products, together with a special PORTER collaboration.

Next to a selection of printed T-shirts, BAPE has rolled out a number of goods bearing its “Shark” graphic including sweat shorts, a full-zip sweat hoodie, and a rare snowboard jacket. Each piece from the collection flaunts a Hong Kong-specific camouflage print, with its signature “World Gone Mad” (WGM) slogan being replaced with “HKG” to further strengthen the collection’s link to the territory.

And what would any limited edition BAPE release be without a helping of Baby Milo product? The latest box set comes with a drawstring backpack, shorts, and T-shirt. Check out the collection, and let us know in the comment section following what you plan on picking up.
