BAPE is bringing back the Roadsta silhouette for its FW16 collection – and it's coming in an Air Yeezy-like colorway.
The Japanese label is known for taking sneaker models and styles from other brands and putting its own stamp on them. Recently it was the Morning Sta, which takes cures from adidas' Stan Smith, and now it's the Roadsta's turn for an update of its own.
Without a new release for a good number of years, the sneaker looks to be returning in an Nike Air Yeezy colorway of black, red and white, with a luminous green toe tip, better known as "Solar Red." There will also be a crisp white rendition, and both will boast premium leather uppers, toe perforations and BAPE’s star branding along the side panels.
The shoe’s release date has yet to be confirmed. Stay tuned for more information.
Meanwhile, this BAPE sneaker collab with adidas on the NMD has sneakerheads going crazy.
