New Zealand has become a destination for creativity ever since musicians like Lorde, Broods, and Kimbra broke out of the island. Electronic producer BAYNK is the latest artist to expand beyond the southwestern realm. Today, we’re premiering his music video for “Be In Love,” a chillhouse track featured on his Be In Love/Years double A-side. The Spencer Graves co-directed visual is an abstract celebration of finding a way to work things out in a relationship despite the differences. BAYNK further explained the meaning behind the track in an email to Highsnobiety.

“This song and visual concept were written to describe a relationship where one participant thought the idea of love and being solely with one person was bullshit and the other thought the opposite,” he said. “It’s a meeting of two souls who fit together so well but have such different views. A perfect example of how opposites attract. Love is magnetic.”
