BEAMS continues cooking up the world's best Arc'teryx collaborations with another round of exclusive Arc gear. It's a little less expansive this time, unfortunately, but don't fear: the special goods are no less, well, special.

This new collaboration, releasing on February 10 via BEAMS' web store and then February 17 in-store, hearkens back to the origins of BEAMS' Arc'teryx exclusives. They've been partners for over two decades, you know.

Back in 1998, BEAMS became the first Japanese retailer to sell Arc'teryx goods through one of its now-defunct sports stores.

One of the first Arc'teryx products that BEAMS sold was the humble Arro 22 bag, then made in Canada.

Decades later, BEAMS and Arc'teryx are still thick as thieves, consummating their longtime partnership with BEAMS-exclusive collaborative iterations of Arc'teryx products since 2011. In 2021, the duo celebrated their decade anniversary with a grey version of the Arro 22, seen above, and several other bespoke bags.

In 2022, BEAMS and Arc'teryx took their much-coveted multicolor jackets international for the first time with a rare Western drop.

The idea was fomented by the stirring demand for BEAMS' patchworked take on Arc'teryx shell jackets and bags, visually arresting and as functional as anything bearing the dead bird logo.

In 2023, BEAMS and Arc'teryx are back at it, this time utilizing Arc's Rebird upcycling program for a bespoke bag collection accented with upcycled fabrics and hardware.

The resulting accessories, which include the Arro 22 (of course) and Arro 8 waist bag, aren't dissimilar from what Arc'teryx's Rebird outlets already offer, really, aside from a few clever details that play on BEAMS cues.

There's a bit of multicolor detailing throughout — primarily by way of contrasting zipper plackets, including an orange one that references BEAMS' logo, debossed on the bag's exterior cushioning — but the bags are otherwise pretty regular compared to what fans may crave.

Still, impossible to deny that they look great and all but inevitable that they'll all fly off the shelves as quickly as any of Arc'teryx's other limited edition designs. Safe to say, BEAMS knows a good thing when it has one.
