Bottega Veneta's green color is a signature for the brand, so much so that it has now been reimagined into a logo drawstring bag.

Since the label was rebranded under Daniel Lee, we've seen shoe boxes, murals, and even the Great Wall of China covered in the "Parakeet" hue for Chinese New Year, and it remains one of the label's most recognizable features. At this point, Bottega basically owns the color green.

If you've ever posted a picture of your green Bottega Veneta shopping bag on your Instagram (influencers, I'm looking at you!) you'll be over the moon to know that it has been turned into a leather drawstring bag that won't just elevate your feed, but your wardrobe, too.

Of course, the bag is crafted from luxury leather – a Bottega specialty – and the price tag certainly matches its quality. Retailing just below $2,000 USD, it is no cheap paper shopping bag, that's for sure. I guess you could always try to make your own out of one of the bags if you're not on a Bottega budget.

It may be a pretty price to pay, but knowing how iconic Bottega's "Parakeet" green has become, it is an investment as well as a piece of fashion history. Imagine one day telling your kids the great tale of how Bottega's green swept the world!

If you're looking to add the bag to your rotation, it is currently available online at Dover Street Market. And if you can't get enough of Bottega Veneta, you'll appreciate the label's latest additions to its footwear lineup.
