What We’re SayingCLOT is following up its recent "Kiss of Death" release with another collaborative Air Max 1. Following a teaser from designer Edison Chen, the brand has officially unveiled an alternate version of the CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 "K.O.D."

The new "CHA" colorway of the CLOT Air Max 1 is inspired by the act of drinking tea, one of the seven necessities of Chinese life. The colors featured on the sneaker then directly reference different varieties of Chinese tea.

"The “CHA” colorway is a continuation of the “K.O.D.” legacy inspired by the past and brought to the present while highlighting CLOT’s Chinese roots," the brand said.

A blend of materials, including suede, leather, and ostrich, come together on the Air Max 1, as it boasts the same overall, updated construction as the CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 “K.O.D.” Sport Red branding serves to complement a Rocky Tan upper, as seen via the Swoosh, CLOT branding on the heel, and lace eyelet detailing. Upper panels and the midsole are dressed in a Medium Brown hue, while the design is made complete with a translucent outsole with Chinese pressure points graphics.

The "CHA" Air Max 1 was originally one of the prototype colorways made during the creation of CLOT's "Kiss of Death" Air Maxes from 2006. Shown here is the special packaging inspired by the original K.O.D., exclusive to F&F only.
