Editor’s Notes: Converse is undoubtedly one of the most recognizable sneaker silhouettes, and now the label is taking some of its iconic features to a whole new shoe: a loafer.

If you're a part of the post-sneaker society, but don't want to sacrifice the comfort of a sneaker, the Converse All Star Coupe Loafer is the perfect hybrid.

Arriving with a classic loafer design featuring removable details on the upper, the shoe is basically two styles in one. Arriving in all black, the shoe is ideal for everyday wear and is a timeless classic that works both day and night.

With silhouettes like the Jack Purcell and the Chuck 70, Converse always pays homage to its classics, and the loafer is no exception.

Of course, some of Converse's signature details have been kept, such as the rubber heel tab, and its signature textured midsole.

Thus far, the Converse All Star Coupe Loafer is only available at Converse Japan, but could potentially be receiving a wider release this year. Keep your eyes peeled as more info about the silhouette surfaces.
