David Choong Lee was born in Seoul, South Korea. At 27 (in 1993) Lee moved to the United States, attending the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. After graduating, Lee became interested in graffiti and street art, and began incorporating elements he found outside the academy with his trained figurative style. Two new paintings, Forget It and Day Trip are now available from Opus Underground. They reflect the convergence of artistic interests in Lee's career.
