Asics Harmony 10 ASICS DETAILS asics gel-venture 6

Earlier this month, Harmony and ASICS teamed up on a pack of two GEL-Venture 6 sneakers. Both kicks are inspired by outdoor sports and feature a number of important details that Highsnobiety has captured and highlighted in the series of photographs below.

The sneakers feature either a navy blue or grey mixed material upper with reflective detailing on the tiger stripes and heel window. White accents highlight the branding, which includes a premium sock liner with embossed Harmony branding. Both shoes come with two lace options, one being tonal to the upper and the other with neon green accents. Rugged tooling is used as a nod to the highly popular hiking trend.

Each model was produced in extremely limited numbers, initially available at Harmony on October 3 with a wider release that followed at a selection of hand-picked boutiques beginning October 6. The Harmony x ASICS GEL-Venture sneakers retailed for €100 (approximately $115).

“The collection is the culmination of a year of work bringing together two universes that are certainly different, but ultimately very complementary,” says David Obadia of Harmony. “I am delighted to work with such a mythical brand as ASICS and to be able to combine our approach to creating and our vision of style with its sense of performance.”

In addition to the two GEL-Ventures, ASICS and Harmony have two more drops up their sleeves. In November, a set of Harmony-designed GEL-Quantum 360 knit shoes will be released. Finally, the two brands worked their magic on two GEL-Kayano 25 colorways, which are set follow in the first half of 2019.
