Dr.Dre is mixing Anderson .Paak's upcoming album, according to a new Instagram post.

Tyhiem “Ty” Cannon, the Head of A&R at Dr. Dre's Aftermath label, posted the image showing the Compton producer alongside engineer Quinten Gilke in the studio. The image was captioned "Mixing @anderson._paak Album!"

Fans have been waiting for Paak's new release for a while now. The artist's last project, Malibu, dropped in 2016 followed by the Knxwledge-produced Yes Lawd! in the same year. Needless to say, a new solo project is well overdue.

Reports suggest the record will be titled Oxnard Ventura, but that has yet to be confirmed. As per .Paak's interview with Triple J, the album is slated to arrive sometime this year.

Now, watch the video for Anderson .Paak's track "Bubblin" which arrived earlier this summer.
