From Ava Nirui's Gucci x Champion amalgams to Asspizza's knock-off YEEZY merch, customizing and bootlegging is hardly a new phenomenon in the fashion industry. But while most customizers usually derive their product and inspiration from vaunted labels further up the style ecosystem, designer icantdecideyet has looked to the past, repurposing vintage garms with a contemporary twist.

Yesterday, Drake was spotted in Los Angeles — where he was out with #InMyFeelings challenge creator Shiggy — wearing an old-school University of Tennessee sweatshirt by icantdecideyet, with the “TENNESSE” text across the chest altered to read "FINESSE," the name of a track on Drake's new album, Scorpion. To complete the look, he channeled the sartorial sensibilities of his good friend Skepta, wearing black sports pants, Nike socks, and Nike TN's.

According to icantdecideyet's website, the letters on the sweater are embroidered before being removed by hand. While this process is no doubt time-consuming and requires a painstaking attention to detail, it does lend the final product a unique, DIY feel.

If there's a sticking point, it's that the limited edition fleece sweaters are retailing for the princely sum of $260. You can finesse one yourself via the link below or find a cheaper alternative here. Good luck getting creative and hacking it to smithereens.
