Alicia Keys, Erykah Badu, along with a group of other musicians, writers, activists, film producers, and actors will partake in a “Protest Brett Kavanaugh” event this Thursday in Washington, D.C.

The upcoming gathering slated to take place at the Supreme court, follows a national walkout last Monday, September 24, in support of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and Deborah Ramirez, both of whom accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct.

With the event dubbed and highlighted with the hashtag #BraveryIsContagious, organizers Party Majority PAC wrote on the event’s official website, “We anticipate a vote on the Senate floor to confirm Brett Kavanaugh as early as Friday. It is critical we make our voices heard on the ground in Washington.”
