After recently appearing on The Dropcast to deliver some well-informed brand advice, Filling Pieces‘ founder and creative director Guillaume Philibert takes to Instagram to tease the brand’s first-ever high heel ahead of Paris Fashion Week.

“Out of comfort-zone for Paris next week,” the caption reads, as Philibert goes on to state that the design is merely a prototype, so don’t approach it with too much criticism. The heel appears to be crafted from black leather, featuring a tonal ankle strap. However, the standout detail comes in the form of the actual heel, which is seemingly an orange carabiner with FP branding.

Known for bridging the gap between streetwear and high fashion, Filling Pieces’ progression into women’s formal footwear should be a welcomed sight for the ladies. Be sure to leave us your thoughts on the Amsterdam-based footwear label’s first high heel, and as always, stay tuned for more details.
