Editor’s Notes: PUMA and HAN Kjøbenhavn have teamed up once again, this time unveiling their SS20 collection. The fourth collaborative effort comprises 18 pieces, is part apparel part footwear, and combines premium handcrafted aesthetics with a retro sportswear vibe.

This collection is on the more experimental side when compared to the previous three collaborations, with HAN Kjøbenhavn creative director Jannik Davidsen playing with tones, transparent textures, and vintage materials. Random stitching and raw edges give each of the styles a hand-crafted feel, while pops of color hark back to running sneakers of the past.

The full collection drops on April 18 at the aforementioned retailers. The four sneakers will arrive alongside a PUMA x HAN crew, half zip, shorts, and a backpack, as well as a number of other styles and types of apparel.

PUMA’s head of SELECT, Yassine Saidi tells Highsnobiety, “HAN Kjøbenhavn is always a great partner to work with. The brand’s take on PUMA’s sporting heritage is quite inspirational and has resulted in an uncompromising approach to streetstyle.”

Jannik Davidsen says “PUMA gave us the freedom to let our creative process flow which led to the success of this partnership for four seasonal collaborations. For the latest collection we wanted to look at PUMA’s DNA through a different lense and add an aspect of storytelling to create a collection inspired by retro sportswear vibes.”
