The Skateroom

The Skateroom and artist Jenny Holzer have joined forces on a new project that combines skate culture, fine arts, and politics. The collaborative project comprises a range of limited-edition boards, all of which are available to cop now via the Highsnobiety Shop.

The Jenny Holzer x The Skateroom collection comprises two striking designs across 25 super limited marble boards and 500 wooden boards. The artist, whose work mainly focuses on the delivery of words, has embossed the board with a timely political message: "IMPEACH."

Marking the brands' second collaborative endeavor, here The Skateroom aims to raise funds to support social skateboarding projects dedicated to empowering at-risk youth. On her part, the artist has waived her royalties to support two U.S. based non-profits, Change the Ref and Vote.org.

For their first collaboration, limited edition skateboards were sold to raise funds for AIDS awareness. In total, $23,100 was donated to the NYC AIDS Memorial.

A marble board can be yours for $10,000, while the wood edition retails for $350. Shop the boards now on Highsnobiety shop.
