In an interview with the The New York Times, Kendall Jenner finally opened up about her affiliation with 2017's notorious Fyre Festival.

While Jenner didn't appear alongside Gigi Hadid, Hailey Bieber, and Emily Ratajkowski in the Fyre Fest promotional video, she was reportedly paid $250,000 for a single Instagram post announcing that members of the G.O.O.D. Music family were set to perform.

Jenner addressed her involvement, telling NYT she didn’t know much about the event. “You get reached out to by people to, whether it be to promote or help or whatever, and you never know how these things are going to turn out, sometimes it’s a risk,” she told NYT, adding that even when familiar with her collaborators, "you never really know what’s going to happen."

Of course, the festival ended up collapsing and McFarland was jailed for six years on fraud charges.
