Highsnobiety

Our crocodile crew friends are no strangers to bringing the court to the streets through their sneakers, but this time, it’s a game of doubles — and team Lacoste x Highsnobiety is coming out on top. The trophy? The New L003 2K24 sneaker.

Whether you’re a tennis fan or not, you’re going to fall in love with these. The collaborative sneaker is an evolution of the L003 Neo that we saw drop last year. While the L003 Neo took fashion as its focal point, the L003 2K24 has sports coursing through its design DNA. Mixing the best ingredients from both worlds, we get an elevated recipe of sartorial excellence that sees tennis class and left-field luxury take center court.

Highsnobiety, Lacoste

Blending Lacoste’s 91-year-long heritage with Highsnobiety’s new luxury and streetwear know-how, the sneaker is a refreshing take on an everyday sports silhouette (that’s also ready to hit every Fashion Week). All the advanced sport-tech codes that you’d want in a high-performing lightweight shoe are there, from ballistic Nylon and padded mesh to TPU reinforcement, anti-slip spikes, and a rubber outside. Heavy terry toweling lining, the HS embroidered logo, and a knitted insock are just some of the Highsnobiety touches that take this silhouette to the next level.

We wanted to embrace a certain idea of timelessness with a forward-thinking silhouette. With this “soft for the eyes" tennis color and elevated material ways, we have explored all aspects of comfort while guaranteeing a very fashionable figure.

When it comes to the visual prowess of the L003 2K24 Highsnobiety, you’re transported to some of the best tennis hubs in the world. Earthy clay and vibrant grass hues from Grand Slam courts wrap around the shoe with pops of green nodding to the brand’s trusty croc — no wonder the colorway is called ‘Shades of Tennis’ with Catherine Spindler describing it as "a combination of technicality, sartorial flair and dynamic design."

The whole collection is not only a landmark moment in collaboration culture between both brands but also a way of honoring founder René Lacoste’s vision: invention. If we look at the brand's footwear heritage, for example, it unveiled its first tennis shoe, ‘La René’, in 1958 — this marked the beginning of a very special sneaker journey. The ‘80s saw the brand fine-tune performance elements with (now archival) silhouettes like The Ardeur in ‘85 and The Indiana in ‘89. Recent years brought designs like the AG-LT21 and 23 Ultra, which put sports technicality and tennis science at the forefront. Safe to say, Lacoste is constantly perfecting and improving its sneaker selection and redefining footwear design every season — and the L003 2K24 Highsnobiety is no different.

Of course, the sneaker release isn't the only thing that this collaboration has given rise to. The L003 2K24 comes alongside an apparel collection that continues the ‘Shades of Tennis’ theme.

Now we know that one of the most sought-after items from Lacoste is its iconic polo; I mean, you'll spot one of these everywhere you go, so naturally, there's a co-branded version of that at the heart of the drop — not to mention a T-shirt, hoodie, jogging bottoms, cap, and socks. While most of the pieces echo the sneaker's colorway, the T-shirt brings a bit of '90s nostalgia to the collection thanks to the large logo and clean aesthetic. With a unisex design structure and taking on a slightly oversized shape, all made with premium materials, the collection nods to this 'je ne sais quoi' hybrid streetwear-luxury feel. Both the L003 2K24 Highsnobiety sneaker and clothing pieces all feature the dedicated logos from the duo, celebratring both brands' first collection.

We’ll definitely be in a constant reinvention of ourselves without neglecting our crucial heritage — that's so important to the Lacoste spirit

Catherine Spindler, Lacoste Deputy CEO
