"A utilitarian approach to towards reduction, purism and concise tailoring" summarizes an excellent Spring/Summer 2016 showing from Italian label Lucio Vanotti. Debuting on these pages, the label immediately caught our attention with a strong focus on proportion and exaggerated silhouette. We've made no secret of our love for the wide-leg trouser and here they're used to full effect with a selection of tunic tops, crisp extra long shirts and slick waist tie coats, sat next to a well-executed take on the sleeveless blazer. Alongside breton stripes and big denim; pinstripes, grid patterns and polka dots are the order of the day, a white, black, blue and grey palette keeping things simple.
