Double Tap to Zoom

Lee Harker, Maika Monroe's character in new horror flick Longlegs, isn't particularly stylish. The FBI agent, assigned to investigate a Satanic serial killer, wears the same, staid uniform — a button-down shirt and slacks — throughout most of the film.

Off-screen, however, Monroe is turning the Longlegs press tour into a scarily stylish affair.

At the movie's Los Angeles premiere, Monroe donned a daring, all-leather ensemble by Courrèges, comprised of a black bra top and a low-slung skirt. Accessorized with a pair of shield-like sunglasses and pointy-toed boots, the outfit was part dominatrix, part Matrix.

Much like Monroe's performance in Longlegs, the ensemble garnered plenty of social media praise. "Maika Monroe, you have been served your ‘Mother’ card, it will be sent to you in 5-7 business days," one fan commented on a post on her Instagram.

A quick scroll through Monroe's social media reveals that her recent outfit wasn't a one-off — she's always had impeccable style. Currently, the actor is working with stylist duo Chloe and Chenelle Delgadillo, who count the likes of SKIMS, Olivia Rodrigo, and Rosalía among their clients.

While accompanying Monroe on her press tour, the Delgadillos have dressed the scream queen in outfits that, fittingly, show off her very long legs — a move we can only assume is a literal nod to the title of the film.

Back in May, Monroe wore a Coperni bodysuit constructed from a wide-shouldered suit jacket and a pair of matching hot pants. Later in June, Monroe forwent pants again, opting for a fuzzy Marni jacket and opera gloves.

Other designers she's worn while promoting Longlegs include it-girl favorites SHUSHU/TONG, Roberto Cavalli, and Alessandra Rich.

Clearly, Monroe's acting chops aren't the only thing that's scary good. Her next act, we hope: front row fixture at Fashion Week come September.
