Brand: Nigel Sylvester x Nike
Model: Air Jordan 1 Hi OG NRG
Key Features: The pair is highlighted by a worn look across its upper, as touches of varsity red and black play complement to the sail spread. The medial Swoosh is done up in a reflective material to provide a flashing effect while night riding. The lateral Swoosh, on the other hand, has been deconstructed and made to look like it has been removed. A mini Swoosh logo is then featured at the forefoot, a first for the Air Jordan 1. The inner collar of the shoe features the words “Jordan Biking Co., ESt. 2017”.

Editor’s Notes: After appearing in Nike’s new Sport Pack campaign, BMX sensation Nigel Sylvester returns to unveil a very special project. Sylvester has partnered with Jordan Brand for a collaborative take on the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG.
Nike Air Jordan Is serve as Sylvester’s go-to sneaker of choice when riding BMX. His sneakers are often seen sporting heavy distress marks, which come about during the trial and error part of mastering tricks.
This specific pair has been designed to mimic those marks with hand-made distressing on a discolored sail upper. As is customary when Jordan Brand lets someone collaborate on its Air Jordan I model, the attention to detail is second to none. A reflective medial Swoosh, as well as a deconstructed lateral Swoosh and a mini version on the sneaker’s forefoot add to the originality of the design.
Over the weekend, Jordan Brand hooked Sylvester up with a custom 1-of-1 “Jordan Biking Co.” BMX bike. The set of wheels came in Jordan Brand’s signature black and red colorway and the phrase “Jordan Biking Company” on the tyres.
