Sotheby's

Japanese designer, music producer, and entrepreneur NIGO auctioned his personal collection at Sotheby's today and made some serious bank while doing so.

The collection was titled NIGOLDENEYE Vol. 1 — a name coined by NIGO's friend and business partner Pharrell and references his impeccable taste in design, fashion, art, and pop-culture. Obviously, his taste has paid off, as NIGO's entire collection sold for approximately $28,019,212.

In total, NIGO's collection sold for approximately $28,019,212.

NIGOLDENEYE Vol. 1 is the third time NIGO has partnered with Sotheby's for a sale. It contained more than 30 artworks and collectibles, many of which are rare or limited-edition. Take a look at the pieces that were auctioned off today in the gallery above, and find out what they sold for here.

Prior to today's auction in Hong Kong, the items were shown as part of a traveling exhibition in Shanghai, Beijing, and Taipei.

The auction took place today, April 1 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. If you want a deeper dive into NIGO's creations, watch the video below.
