By giving its already advanced sneaker a technical rain jacket, Nike made the Air Max Dn even better.

Now, it's ready to roam.

The updated model is even called the Air Max Dn Roam, and it's basically this bad-weather-ready version of the OG high-tech Air Max model.

The most obvious update is the upper, which now features a water-repellent zip-up cover and bungee-style laces underneath for even more convenient wear.

The Air Max sneaker also features "storm tires," which makes the shoe extra reliable on a variety of surfaces, from slippery sidewalks to dry pebbly roads.

True to the DN way, the Air Max naturally keeps its Dynamic Air tubes in the heel, ensuring a soft and supportive ride even on messy days.

Admittedly, the Air Max DN looks better this way. The OG pair and even the Air Max DN8 are good, but the zip-up really took the model up a notch. Thank you, Nike.

The Air Max DN Roam typically retails for $190 and can be found on Nike's website in a few colorways. But the collection is expected to grow, with this new earthy "Cargo Khaki" colorway landing soon.
