Double Tap to Zoom

Can runners be sexy? The latest Nike Vomero Premium certainly presents a solid case.

Nike's (literally) biggest runner has emerged in a "Black/Hot Lava" colorway. It maintains all the usual touches, including the 55mm ZoomX mattress underfoot. But the color arrangement itself is the real treat.

The brand covers the thick running shoe in black for the most part, joined by colorful splashes like purple Swooshes and a red "Air" borrowed from the classic Air More Uptempo basketball shoes.

Honestly, the "Hot Lava" sneakers give off lava-lamp energy, sort of like those other Vomero sneakers.

Nike's Vomero Premium has worn several eye-catching looks, ranging from Realtree camo outfits to vibrant "Alabaster," which made the shoes look like a citrusy refresher.

Now, the ultra-chunky running shoe is slipping into something a little more grown and very much sexy.

It's not surprising to see that the "Black/Hot Lava" sneakers are already sold out on Nike's website. But good news, the shoes are set to release on Footdistrict's website in the coming days for $230.
