Earlier in May, Virgil Abloh debuted his OFF-WHITE Cruise 2019 collection, entitled “Impressionism,” which was highlighted by an array of styles that are defined by all-over prints.

While the offerings encompasses tees, sweaters, trousers, shorts, accessories and various outerwear silhouettes, one of the key garments is focalized on the variety of denim, which has been painted and further punctuated with tie-dye effects. The featured denim jacket and matching denim pants showcased above is detailed with an impressionist watercolor painting laid out in a pattern, depicting a scenic landscape of homes along a river, while also spotlighting a couple rowing a boat together.

With the theme essentially characterized to re-create the artist’s or viewer’s general impression of a scene on a series of clothing, you can find these standout pieces at OFF-WHITE’s online store and stockists soon.

Also, OFF-WHITE and Smets pull from the surrealist movement for their collab. Up next, Virgil Abloh says his next Louis Vuitton collection will celebrate Michael Jackson.
