Lil Nas X “Old Town Road” hit has now spent 16 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard chart. The latest milestone has only been achieved by two other songs, “Despacito” by Daddy Yankee, Luis Fonsi, and Justin Bieber, and the 1995 hit, “One Sweet Day” by Boyz II Men and Mariah Carey.

At 13 weeks at No.1 the trap/country crossover hit broke the record for the longest-running hip-hop song ahead of Wiz Khalifa‘s 2015 hit “See You Again featuring Charlie Puth,” The Black Eyed Peas “Boom Boom Pow,” and Eminem‘s 2002 classic “Lose Yourself.”

Last week, TIME magazine named Lil Nas X one of the 25 most influential people on the internet for 2019. He joins Ariana GrandeCardi B, and BTS.

On this week’s episode of The Dropcast, we are joined by photographer Cam Hicks and Angelo Urrutia, your favorite influencer’s favorite influencer’s favorite behind-the-scenes creative director. Enjoy.
