Our Legacy

Fret not, the Our Legacy Spring/Summer 2022 lookbook has arrived to fill the fashion-sized hole in your heart.

The summer has passed, you've tucked your Our Legacy Workshop x Stüssy pieces away for the season, copped some Byredo collaborative pieces – but you're still left wanting more. Just in time to start writing your Christmas wishlist (for 2022, of course), Our Legacy has set a new standard of cool with the first look at its SS22 lineup.

Titled “Deja Vu,” Spring/Summer 2022 has everything a society returning outdoors could ask for. In true Legacy fashion, the lookbook showcases pieces that work effortlessly as standalone items or as layered building blocks of top-to-bottom looks. As you'd expect from the Swedish label, reinvigorated timeless design staples are the bare bones of the collection.

In the words of creative director Christopher Nying, “The first idea of the collection was to create a delicate form of sportswear based on tracksuits, but now we’re moving into a more delicate world, [using] nylon [and] cotton crochet in sportswear.”

The delicate colors palette of the collection is one that refuses to make too bold of a statement; the spectrum of greens, blacks, browns, and blues pull the focus onto the functional details and construction of the garments while providing the few pops of red and pink with a canvas on which they shine. At first glance, "Deju Vu" is a collection lost in time, but with its contemporary approach to function and color, it excels at delivering a style that is contemporary and chic without trying too hard.

You'll have some time to wait before you can get your hands on the Our Legacy Spring/Summer 2022 collection, but you can fill the time pulling your favorite pieces from the lookbook.
