Promising newcomer and Selectism favorite Peir Wu presents Spring/Summer 2016 in inventive style. Alongside regular lookbook action, the London-based designer pits next year's collection against the streets of industrial East London. A three-part photo documentary series from Edith Bergfors and Violetta Beral follows teenage rock climbers, Beefield Scott and Sacha Salamon White, as they practice a type of urban acrobatics known as "Buildering;" additional action footage shot by Peir herself, also an avid rock climber.

Scaling various structures in the area, the duo are kitted out in the newest line. Brilliantly described as "Patagonia meets Ermenegildo Zegna," the designer's "Casual Futurism" brings together a selection of comfortable pieces heavily influenced by sportswear and modernized with a tailored finish. Denim patches and contrast trim the only real decoration for Spring/Summer 2016, detailing has been kept purposefully minimal. Where you'd expect to see collars, buttons and pockets there are none, subtle press studs, hidden zippers and internal holders preferred for a streamlined look. This debut editorial to be followed by parts 2 and 3, "the elements of strategy, strength and mental focus" are celebrated in this all-action editorial.
