PT Torino

Progression is the name of the game for PT Torino. For SS23, the luxury Italian brand has unveiled an exciting menswear collection and a new community-focused campaign designed to elevate fresh voices in our industry.

The brand describes its latest collection, "Progressive Evolution," as a 360-degree menswear concept — a comprehensive wardrobe built from styles that complement the trousers and denim pieces PT Torino is known for.

The collection is inspired by the ’90s — "an era of extraordinary style" — and references grunge aesthetics alongside "street style accents [and] the ubiquitous rockstar attitude" with a little glam touch added in for good measure. In reality, what that means is that the SS23 jackets, outwear, knitwear, and shirts boast bold colorways in unexpected combinations.

Silhouettes have also been upgraded this season, most notably the high-waisted "Quindici style" trousers and The Workwear pants, which serve as the brand's take on classic workwear aesthetics.

PT Progressive Talents, meanwhile, is the first chapter in the brand's new creative process. The concept was created by brand director Roberto Ortu and is described as: "An actual declaration of borderless freedom and connection to the lifestyle of the new generations, gathering street art, photography, graphic design, music, and architecture."

A short film accompanies the campaign. In it, we're introduced to a number of talents within the PT community — from skaters and climbers to writers and musicians — who discuss their individual interpretations of the word progression. Alessandro Bava, an architect and writer, is among those featured in the video and can be seen creating a "PT Wall," which serves as both a commentary on the role space plays in progression and as a place for the talents to converge.  The result is an inspiring watch that invites us all to consider what the word means to us.
