Where the runway meets the street

Mysterious NYC bootlegger Shirt is back at it again with a new “Raf OFF-WHITE” collection, following his “Nike x adidas” pop-up earlier this year.

The drop features tees and crewnecks that play with the style codes of Raf Simons (such as duct tape), Virgil Abloh’s signature air quotes, a rip off of the VLONE logo that now reads “VOGUE”, and our favorite, a heather gray Champion crewneck with the slogan “OBAMA YEARS” in dark blue across the front.

So, why the Obama years? Shirt tells us that Obama’s presidency, to him, represents “the years we’ll look back on as giving us the strength before what came next. Raf moving to the states, Virgil coming into power. This not for fashion, this is to throw a football around with my kid years from now. Also, with everybody concerned with finding ways to say “Fuck Trump,” I like going the other way”.

The latest drop also includes a limited amount of Shirt’s imagined Raf Simons x OFF WHITE Air Monarchs. Peep the collection in the gallery below and shop it here.
