[UPDATE: February 13, 3:47 a.m. EST] Sheck Wes' legal and management teams have released an official statement on the abuse allegations brought forth by Justine Skye:

"We are actively investigating the allegations against Sheck Wes and are fiercely standing by him through this. He has denied any wrongdoing whatsoever or violence of any kind and we believe him. He will defend himself against this serious defamation of character with any and all legal remedies available and for now will leave this with the legal process. Sheck is a strong supporter of the rights and liberties of all people and is appalled by these wrongful allegations and attempts to assassinate his character. He will no longer sit by and allow these falsehoods to live on any further."

Singer and actress Justine Skye has accused Sheck Wes of abuse. In a series of tweets, she details an alleged instance of abuse involving being stalked by Sheck and a group of his friends, going on to add “You’re pathetic Sheck and you beat women. You hit your girl before me and you’ll do it again." See her thoughts below.

Sheck has since responded with the following:

To which Justine responded with evidence refuting his claims:

Rumors involving Sheck Wes' history of abuse have been swirling since Skye shared an Instagram post in October 2018. It described abuse without naming a culprit, but around the same time, Skye had liked various posts on social media indicating Sheck was to blame.

Justine Skye is currently in a relationship with GoldLink, who offered veiled criticism of Sheck and addressed the allegations on his song "Justine's Interlude."

We have reached out to Justine Skye and Sheck Wes for comments, GoldLink has declined to comment further on the situation at this time – we will update this story as further information emerges.
