Sony has revealed the games it's offering for free this July in honor of PlayStation Plus' 10 year anniversary. The games are NBA 2K20 and Rise of the Tomb Raider, with Erica included as an extra celebratory bonus.

The selection was announced on the official PlayStation blog yesterday via a post that explained all three games will be available for PS Plus members from July 7 through August 3. Find the game trailers with brief explainers on each below.

The latest entry in the annual basketball franchise, NBA 2K20 allows players to build their own teams and compete both off- and online with an aim of creating a gripping and authentic game experience. Per the official synopsis, it features "an upgraded motion engine with signature styles, advanced shooting controls, a new dribble size-up system, refined off-ball collisions, and a new read and react defensive game."

Join Lara Croft on an expedition through Siberia in which she must find the legendary city of Kitezh while also battling a ruthless organization known as Trinity. This game has won a number of awards including Best Game, Outstanding Writing, and Excellence in Animation.

Erica

Erica is described as a "feature-length cinematic experience [that] merges high-fidelity Hollywood production values with engaging, tactile gameplay." The titular Erica is a young woman dealing with the trauma of her father's murder, and you are tasked with piecing together what happened to him. The choices you make influence how the game develops, with multiple possible endings.
