Warner Bros. Pictures and Amazon Studios will soon be releasing John Crowley's adaptation of Donna Tartt’s best-selling novel and winner of the 2014 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction and the Andrew Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Fiction, The Goldfinch. Above you can stream the first official trailer for the drama starring Ansel Elgort, Finn Wolfhard, and Nicole Kidman.

Elgort leads the way in The Goldfinch portraying Theodore “Theo” Decker, a boy whose mother was killed in a bombing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art when he was just 13 years of age. The film follows the life of Theo from grief to reinvention and love, as he somehow finds himself in the midst of the upperclass, even while working at an antiques store.

Again, Finn Wolfhard of Stranger Things and Academy Award winner Nicole Kidman star alongside Elgort, as Oakes Fegley, Aneurin Barnard, Sarah Paulson, Luke Wilson, and Jeffrey Wright also feature. Produced by Nina Jacobson of The Hunger Games films, The Goldfinch hits theaters September 13.
