The Remade / ACU
1 / 3

High-end sneaker customization service The Remade has teamed up with Chinese brand ACU to create a special version of Nike's iconic Air Force 1. The sneaker has been reworked using 3D-molding technology to mimic the scales and fins of a Chinese koi fish.

In China, koi are traditionally a good luck charm, bringing good fortune to those who keep them. The all-white leather sneaker’s Swoosh, heel, and toe area feature 3D koi detailing, while gold embroidered stitching on the heel gives the sneaker its only pop of color.

The Remade x ACU Nike Air Force 1 “Chinese Koi” will be released at Sneaker Con Shanghai, which runs from May 16 to 19, and via The Remade's website. The Remade and ACU previously teamed up on a “Guardian Lion” version of the Air Force 1, which was released to celebrate Chinese New Year.
