Following the recent announcement of our documentary with Timberland, “This Is Not a Boot: The Story of an Icon,” the film kicks off a tour this month with screenings in major cities around the globe.

In celebration of The Original Timberland Boot’s 50th anniversary, the documentary chronicles the silhouette’s rise from its rugged beginnings to bonafide streetwear staple—all from the perspective of cultural titans who witnessed and helped shape it.

The anniversary celebration commences with a premiere screening in New York City at Metrograph Theater, followed by stops in Milan, London, Shanghai, Tokyo, and more before the documentary finally launches worldwide here on Highsnobiety.com. While the screenings are invite-only, the block is sure to be hot with appearances from many of the same global icons featured in the doc. So, eagle-eyed fans, you’ve been put on notice.
