There are certain clubs in world football that never fail to come through with a stunning jersey. Venezia FC, as its new 2021/2022 effort proves, is one of them.

Back in the Serie A big league for the first time in 19 years following financial struggles, mismanagement, and relegation, the storied club has pulled out all the stops with a gorgeous navy kit. Featuring gold elements in a nod to Venetian churches and art, a text bearing "Venezia" has replaced the typical sponsor once more, while the gold stars of the iconic Basilica di San Marco are arranged as a “V." Finally, orange and green accents have been included as a nod to the club's loyal fans.

This is the first Kappa Venezia kit since the brand replaced Nike, and it's neat to see a smaller club — similar to AIK in Sweden — work closely with brands to realize their clear aesthetic vision. Kappa is a brand known for mixing retro stylings with modern touches, and that's certainly how they've gone about this beauty.

The Venezia home shirt has sold out on the official club store, but those in Europe can find it on other sites such as Pro Direct Soccer. The club will release four kits in total with Kappa this year.
