After causing a ruckus on the internet with his GoFundMe page created to benefit an “early retirement,” Vince Staples has removed the fundraiser. Originally created to encourage his haters “get off of my d***, or fund my lifestyle,” Staples has now announced that he has shut down the page, refunding all those who donated. However, he also added, “I am also personally matching the donations made and donating the full amount to the Michelle Obama library of Norf Long Beach.”

The GoFundMe page ended up being a publicity stunt to promote the Long Beach rapper’s new single “Get the F*** Off My Dick,” which directly address his critics. Staples recently wrapped up a co-headling tour with Tyler, the Creator, and is set to perform at Coachella next month.
