As suspected, the sneaker is part of an all-orange Louis Vuitton capsule collection to be sold exclusively at a pop-up store as part of the designer’s “Figures of Speech” exhibition at the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art.
Aside from the sneaker, the limited edition collection consists of a leather baseball cap embossed with the brand’s monogram design, chunky sunglasses with orange lenses, a chained belt, and a soft trunk bag and backpack. The capsule will be sold alongside pieces from Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2019 collection.
The pop-up will be open from June 8 until July 7 on West Randolph Street in Chicago. There is also a store at the museum, called Church & State, offering bestselling OFF-WHITE pieces as well as new exclusive items inspired by the exhibition.
