Japanese label visvim has offered a peek into their New York Fashion Week showroom, presenting us with a glimpse of the brand's Spring/Summer 2016 collection. A mix of eclectic apparel and footwear offerings surround a central display of old-timey artifacts, many of which have been incorporated into the season's designs. Renowned for finding inspiration in vintage Americana and Native American culture, designer Hiroki Nakamura's fondness for reappropriating these traditional customs manifests itself in plain sight, available for all to see. Standout items include a pair of trainers that bear a headdress motif and several print-infused outerwear pieces that demonstrate Nakamura's ability to tastefully execute on his influences.
Be sure to also check out visvim's FBT which was recently reworked with premium elk leather.
