In an interesting new collaboration THE NORTH FACE PURPLE LABEL reached out to American designer Mark McNairy to design an exclusive fabric for them for Spring/Summer 2014. As part of the team-up McNairy turned his signature daisy flower camouflage pattern into a technical fabric for the Japanese label by The North Face, using PERTEX water-repellent fabric. The outcome is a small capsule collection, which consists of a mountain wind parka, as well as a day pack backpack and matching waist bag and packing cases. The full range of the THE NORTH FACE PURPLE LABEL x Mark McNairy “Daisy Camouflage” Capsule Collection will release in the coming week at nanamica stores in Japan.
