Yamaha has tapped Turkey’s Bunker Custom Cycles to take part in their Yard Built series by customizing the XSR700. The bike features a parallel twin motor, which is the “perfect base given its engine characteristics, and the bike inspires you to create something light, agile and free,” says Bunker’s Uzer brothers.

The scrambler then boasts 19-inch spoked wheels and upside-down forks from a MT-09 Tracer to better handle rough terrain. In borrowing aspects from the average dirt bike, the custom motorcycle also has Renthal bars and Biltwell Inc grips. The suede seat in turn sits six centimeters higher than the stock XSR700, due to the implementation of a bolt-on extension.

Custom components for Bunker’s Yamaha creation include fuel tank covers, side panels, fenders, radiator covers and a seat plate, all of which were constructed from aluminum. Bunker also built a custom exhaust out of stainless steel, while the billet clutch and brake levers, foot pegs and side stand riser are all Yamaha parts.
