Time after time, Taco Bell has been there for the marijuana-fueled pangs of hunger at 2am that can only be sated by a crunch wrap and the hot summer days only made better by a freezy Baja Blast. Yet in spite of all its deliciousness, it still carries a reputation for being on hand to utterly liquidate your insides in a way that only a Fiery Doritos Locos Taco can. But now Taco Bell is playing to both sides of this legacy with the upcoming release of a Cheetos Burrito.
Yes, a Cheetos Burrito. A tortilla filled with beef, rice, cheese sauce, and the crunchy, cheese-powder coated snack. The company announced that it will be testing this dangerous new product in select locations around the country starting in August, after a successful test run of Beefy Cheddar Cheetos Crunchwrap Sliders in Taco Bell Canada earlier this year.
Taco Bell isn’t the only brand that has been enraptured with the magic of the Cheeto. Just last month, Burger King unveiled a new appetizer/side dish offering of Mac n’ Cheetos, a classic Cheeto cracker filled with macaroni and cheese. Like a mozzarella stick, only far more likely to coat your fingers in cheese powder for the next week.
Look out for Taco Bell’s upcoming Cheetos Burritos to appear at a location near you (if you’re one of the lucky few near a chosen location. Or unlucky, depending on how strong your digestive tract is).
