Since its launch is 2008, J.W. Anderson has been touted as one of London’s most innovative fashion brands. With the brand’s roots lying deeply in idiosyncrasy and breaking out of the conventional mold, it comes to no surprise that J.W. Anderson’s FW16 campaign is one inspired by the unconventional.

Featuring Bella Hadid, the campaign captures the model as a screen actress in a photo spread. To her left, a black and white image of a boy with a puppet strung around his neck provides stark contrast to the candidness of her picture.

Most interestingly, the final image in the 3-photo set has Hadid posing in full color. The elements of contrast and design in what Hadid is wearing represent the nature of this FW16 update: innovation and breaking free from the norm.
