A.P.C. isn’t your typical fashion week proposition. Jean Touitou’s particular brand of classic, timeless uniformity has barely changed in his brand’s almost 30-year history, and his low-key aesthetic needs very little explaining. Regardless, Touitou still threw his hat into the ring for Paris Fashion Week, replacing his usual presentation at A.P.C. HQ with an intimate show held in what he described as a strip club for the “work council” set.

A.P.C’s SS17 womenswear is as nondescript as it’s ever been. Denim, neutral colors and plenty of strappy sandals formed the bulk of Touitou’s offering, with plenty of nice, well-made stuff for tasteful dressers to spend their cash on.

For something at the other end of the fashion spectrum (i.e. dazzling and ostentatious), check out Haider Ackermann’s SS17 show.
