Under Armour isn’t just about athletic gear, it’s a brand with innovation at its core. In the pursuit of crafting durable footwear and outerwear that can deal with the demands of modern-day city life, Under Armour has introduced the UA PURSUIT Carbon Pack. With a collection of highly-functional gear—including the Fat Tire Onda and Fat Tire Mid—we’ve tapped five photographers in five major cities to show how truly versatile this new Under Armour series is.

It’s hard not to be hypnotized when scrolling through Tobi “Tobi Shinobi” Shonibare’s images. From dizzying staircases to densely populated skylines, the London-based photographer uses his camera to deep dive into the complexities of architecture, giving viewers a perspective at what’s above and below. But while his imagery is so breath-taking it appears effortless, he admits that part of the regular routine is always being ready for just about anything.

“Sometimes the weather changes, or the locations are under construction so I need to have contingency plans in place and prepare as much as I can in advance.” That flexibility has allowed him to find the beauty in abandoned buildings and luxury skyscrapers in equal measure, often presenting the majesty of the English capital in new, refreshing, and rarely-seen ways. Sure, London may be one of the most photographed cities in history, but Tobi Shinobi’s isn’t one to retread on others’ earlier work. “As long as I’m raising the bar, I’m living the dream.”

He may have began his working career in law, but his ingenuity and eye for symmetry have made him shift focus and become an Instagram icon in the process—needless to say, we’re happy he’s made the switch.
